Campminder provides several standard medical reports, but when you need something tailored—like a list of campers with dietary restrictions for your kitchen staff or immunization records by session—the Medical Reporter is your go-to tool.
It allows you to customize exactly who you're reporting on, what information to include, and how you want it displayed.

Setup and Run The Medical Reporter
Navigate to Medical > Medical Reporter. If you've previously saved any selection criteria, you’ll find them here on this first screen for easy reuse.
Select New Report from the top right side of the page.
At the top, you’ll see three tabs—Selection Criteria, Field Sort, and Options. Think of them as who, what, and how.
In the Selection Criteria tab, choose whether you're reporting on Campers or Staff. You can only select one group per report. Once you select a group, additional filters appear.
Narrow down your list using filters like Session, Program Day, and Person Status.
Note: Session Status is a required field.
For more specific filtering, use the Additional Filter Criteria option by clicking the Dictionary link to access additional fields you can use to include or exclude campers or staff.

If this is a set of filters you’ll use again, click Save Current Criteria as Preset. You can save it for yourself or make it available to everyone at your camp.
Switch to the Field Sort tab. Use the left box to select the fields you want in your report, like First Name, Gender, or Dietary Restrictions. Double-click a field or use the arrows to add it.

Tip: Click on the dropdown at the top of the field and use the Search function to type out exactly what you're looking for.
In the center box, arrange which fields appear as columns across the top of your report. In the right box, select how your rows should be sorted—for example, alphabetically by last name.
Tip: Sorting by bunk or session can make your report easier to read and share with other departments.
If you want to reuse this setup later, click Save Current Field Set as Preset to save it for future reports.
Click over to the Options/Finish tab to adjust how your report will look when printed or exported. Add a Title and decide whether to number the rows.
Choose if you want page or line breaks when certain fields change—like separating by Bunk or Gender.
You can also choose to hide duplicate data for a cleaner layout.
When you're ready, click the green Generate Report button.
A popup will display your report. You can print or export it using the buttons at the top left.
To reuse the full report setup later, click Save in the popup window. Give your report a name, choose whether it’s private or shared, and assign it to a folder if you'd like.
After closing the popup, you’ll return to the report builder. From here, you can tweak filters, fields, or options and rerun the report without starting over.
Note: All saved reports can be accessed from the dropdown in the top-right corner of the Medical Reporter screen.
