Seasonal staff are a big part of the camp experience, and now they can see the moments they help create—plus stay on top of important camp tasks—all from their phones.
With staff access in the Campanion app, staff can view personalized photo albums, complete forms, and browse camp photos, with or without facial recognition depending on your camp’s setup.

Staff Login
Only staff who are 18 or older and in "Hired" status can use the Campanion app.
Staff Campanion login uses the same email and password you set up during the hiring process. If you use the same login credentials for multiple camps, Campanion will automatically connect all associated camps to your account.
Note: If someone is both a staff member and a camp parent, Campanion will show a combined view—no need to log in and out to switch between roles. (More on this view below.)
Staff Face Finder Setup
Staff can now use Face Finder in Campanion to help automatically tag themselves in camp photos—a great way to stay visible in camp memories! The flow has been thoughtfully updated to include a few safeguards and a smoother experience designed just for staff.
Log in to the Campanion app using your staff credentials.
Watch for a prompt to complete the Face Finder setup—this will appear the first time you log in for the season.
💡Tip: We’ve tailored the language and visuals in the Face Finder flow to feel right for adults, so it’s quick and intuitive to complete.
Verify your age. Face Finder is available only to staff who are 18 or older. If your birthdate isn’t already on file, you’ll be prompted to add it before continuing.
Snap a selfie or upload a photo. The camera opens in Selfie Mode by default, making it easy to take your picture. Prefer to upload? That works too!
Submit your photo to complete your Face Finder training.
Staff Stream: Microposts and Albums
Staff have full access to all micro posts and photo albums, even those filtered for specific camper groups.
What Staff Can See:
All micro posts created by the camp
All photo albums, regardless of any camper-specific filters
What Staff Can Do:
Favorite photos to revisit later
Download or share photos directly from the app
Example: If a parent only sees posts relevant to their child, a staff member will see both the included and excluded content. This ensures staff always stay in the loop with everything happening at camp.
Campanion Menu Staff Setups
The Campanion menu options are based on a staff member’s role and your camp’s setup—including whether Face Finder is enabled. Depending on these settings, your staff may see different options in their app.

Basic Staff Access
Menu items: Forms, Help, Feedback
Used by camps with a minimal setup and no additional features like Face Finder enabled.
Additional Features Enabled – Staff Access
Menu items: Stream, Photos, Favorites, My Face Finder
For camps that have enabled Face Finder. Staff can train their own face but won’t see camper-specific features unless they’re also linked to a camper.
Parent & Staff Combo
Menu items: My Campers, My Face Finder, Tagged Photo Albums
For staff who are also parents. They can train their own face and access features related to their children, including individual tagged albums.
Note: Menu visibility updates automatically based on what your camp has turned on.
Staff Forms Access
Your staff are always on their phones—now your forms are too, making it easy to collect important onboarding documents quickly and efficiently with Staff Forms in Campanion.
💡Tip: Encourage your team to complete forms from their phones—no printing, no scanning, no problem.
Staff can use the Campanion app to:
View all required forms they need to submit before arriving at camp.
See updated due dates—including alerts when forms are overdue.
Download, email, or upload completed forms as PDFs—right to their staff profile.
Note: For paper forms, it’s just as easy. When a staff member uses the app to scan a document, Campanion auto-detects page borders to create a clean, high-quality PDF.
