Get to Know: Pending Medications

Learn how to Navigate Campminder's Health Center Pending Medications Module

Updated over 9 months ago

After gathering medication details via the CampInTouch Health History Form, it's advisable to verify the accuracy of this data upon medication arrival at camp. The Pending Medications Tab in the Health Center allows you to review and approve any medications awaiting confirmation.

💡Tip: Although you can enter logs and treatments in a person's record, it's easier to use the Health Center, especially when entering information for multiple people.

Accept Pending Medications

  1. Navigate to Medical > Log and Treatment > Health Center. Select the "Pending Medications" link at the top right of the Medical Center.

💡Tip: You'll verify prescriptions, dosages, and delivery times to ensure they match what was provided on the online Health Form. If they do, you'll mark the medication as accepted.

  2. Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow down your search by camper details like gender, session, division, grade, or bunk. You can also search for an individual by typing their name.

  3. Once you've applied your filters, you'll see a list of medications displayed below. Each medication entry includes details such as when it was added, its source, dosage, delivery times, and any memos.

  4. If necessary, you can edit certain fields of the medication, such as the initial count, end date, dosage, and delivery time. You can also add additional memos if needed.

Note: Pending medications can be dispensed without requiring approval. However, discontinued medications will not appear in the list of medications available for dispensing.

  5. After reviewing the medication details, click the "Accept" button to mark it as accepted. Once accepted, a green checkbox will replace the "Accept" button.

Note: If you make changes to the medication before accepting it, you'll be prompted for confirmation.

We’ve also made one more helpful change to the medications report. Navigate to Medical>Reporting>Medications, and see that we’ve included a new source field in your filters.
