Add Medical Logs and Treatments in a Record

Learn how to add Medical Treatments, Logs, and Medications through a record

Instead of going to the health center, you have the ability to record treatments and logs from a camper or staffer's record.


Add a Treatment In a Record

  1. Navigate to the "Medical "tab on the lower half of a staff/camper's record.

  2. Click on the "Log & Treatment tab". If there are previous entries, they will appear here.

    Note: To view full details of any previous entry, click on ''View Link.''

  3. Click the gray ''Add Treatment'' button. A window will open. The Date and Time will start with today's date and time, but you can edit it to record when the visit happened.

  4. In the ''Presenting With'' box, describe why the camper needs treatment and their injury or illness details.

    Note: entries cannot be edited or deleted once submitted.

  5. A ''Frequent Treatment'' box will include all ''Frequent Treatments'' that you indicated in your medical setup. If you wish to indicate that one of these treatments is being used in this case, click on that treatment and it will highlight.

  6. In the ''Treatment'' box, enter information about specific treatments for the above mentioned injury or illness. Make sure to indicate actions and instructions offered at the time of treatment.

  7. Enter the doctor or nurse who saw the camper in the "MD/RN" drop-down box and the location of the visit in the ''Location'' drop-down box.

  8. Enter the result of the visit in the ''Disposition'' drop-down box and whether or not the parents were notified.

  9. If the treatment indicates a follow up, check the ''Follow Up'' box.

  10. When complete, click the green ''Save'' button.


Add a Log In a Record

  1. Navigate to the medical tab on the lower half of a staff/camper's record.

  2. Click on the Log & Treatment tab. If there are previous entries, they will appear here. To view full details of any previous entry, click on ''View Link.''

  3. Click on the gray ''Add Log Entry'' button.

  4. A pop-up window will appear. The Date and Time will default to the current date and time, and you may change that since this ''Date and Time'' field refers to the date and time of the visit.

  5. Enter the full details about the visit in the ''Comments'' box. It is important to be thorough here, not just for the sake of the camper, but also for insurance and state requirements purposes. Also, please note that an entry cannot be deleted or edited once it has been entered.

  6. Enter the doctor or nurse who saw the camper in the "MD/RN" drop-down box and enter the log prefix.

  7. The entry date refers to the date of entry into the system, so there shouldn't be a reason to change this field. However, you may change it if you need to.

  8. The name of the person logged in will appear under ''Entered By.'' You may also change this name.

  9. Click the green ''Save'' button.
