Health Center
The Health Center is where medical staff input logs and treatments/visits for campers and staff.
💡Tip: Although you can enter logs and treatments in a person's record, it's easier to use the Health Center, especially when entering information for multiple people.

Health Profile
To pull up a person's record, start by typing their name in the "name" field. As you type, the field will auto-complete, displaying the name and a photo of the person below.
Note: only enrolled campers and active (hired) staff will appear in the autocomplete.
Additionally, you can select the purple "Health Center" button from the Medical tab on a person record.
After selecting the name, it appears on the top left with camp info below, health history on the right, and visit counts shown for the season and past 72 hours.
Below the name, you can enter a treatment, log, or MAR entry. The "Card" functions like the lower tab "Log and Treatment" entries but includes additional options like temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiratory rate.
Treatment (Visit): a treatment/visit is an unexpected visit to the medical center. Scrapes or injuries, headaches, etc.
Log: a log is an expected visit to the medical center. Normally, this is used for check-ins or follow-up visits.
History: the person's history of interactions with the med center, as well as medication changes, will be listed here.
MAR: this button is for administering medication, or noting if a medication was missed, refused, or skipped
Once you save a log or treatment, it's accessible in camper and staff records, and in log and treatment reports. After saving, you're taken back to the initial screen with the auto-complete name box, making it easy to enter information for another person.
Add a Treatment
For any unscheduled visits, you can search for the person in the health center and then add in a treatment/visit as needed.
Find the person's record by entering part of the name in the Health Profile search bar. In the record window, click on the "Treatment" button.
You can enter any date and time if you need to back-date a visit or add it later.

BP: blood pressure of presenting patient
Resp: Respiration of presenting patient
MD/RN: the doctor or nurse who treated the patient (see: Medical Definitions)
Location: the location the injury or illness occurred (or where the treatment occurred)
Disposition: what happened at the conclusion of the visit
Parents: were the parents notified?
Presenting With: the symptoms described by the patient
Frequent Treatment: a list of common treatments (optional)

Follow-up: check this box if a follow-up visit will be required. You can enter the date and time, which will then be reportable.
Note: Campminder will not delete or change treatments once they've been added. If you make a mistake, please record a new treatment.
Click the green "Save" button once you've entered all information.

MAR
In the Health Profile, under the MAR section, you can view a list of medication disbursements for today or any selected day. This allows for quick and easy administration of medication.
Find the person's record by entering part of the name in the Health Profile search bar. In the record window, click on the "MAR" button.
At the top, you can set the date, and then filter by Planned, Unplanned, or Both
Planned: any medication (whether prescription or OTC) listed in a person's lower medical tab to be taken on a specific schedule (or even As Needed).
Unplanned: any medication is given not at the time it was scheduled to be given, or an OTC medication not listed that the person takes on a specific schedule.
Administer Planned Medication
Click a green "Administer" button to record when a prescription or OTC med was given.
Dosage: enter the amount given in this instance. You can always check the right side of the health profile to see the listed meds and dosages.
Date: you can't edit this field when administering meds. You can, however, exit from this window and choose a different date at the top of the Medication tab.
Time: set the time the medication was given.
Note: record any notes about this medication that should be reportable later.
Administer Unplanned Medication
When you click "Administer Unplanned", you can record a medication administration that happens outside of the normal time, or record an unexpected dose of OTC medication.
Note: you can only choose from the radio buttons indicating a medication existing in the camper's record, including Over The Counter.
